Are Tank scooters worth buying?
I'm currently working in a tattoo parlor. People seek me out for my spectacular religious tattoos, sun tattoos and fairy tattoos. But, the money that I am getting is not really enough to pay for the rent and utility. I'm thinking of minimizing costs by getting a gas-powered scooter instead of a car. I heard that there are a lot of cheap, Chinese scooters on the market. Although these scooters have incurred a lot of bad rep since they began entering the market, I heard that Tank scooters have gotten better since they first entered the market. Is that true? In the past, I read a lot of complaints about them online. Some dude even created a website about Tank scooters. Are Tank Scooters worth buying? Or should I choose another brand?
According to the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), China has become the largest scooter manufacturer. In fact, they produce of over 50% of the scooters in the world. With lower prices, it is really impossible to resist the temptation of settling for a scooter that is made in China. Unfortunately, a lot of people have had their fair share of horror stories when it comes to buying China-made scooters.
The good news is that China now uses better quality control and has begun making scooters that can meet strict United States DOT and EPA standards. But, since there are a lot of Chinese manufacturers in the market, the quality of their products are not the same. According to the news, Tank scooters can now rival the scooters produced in Japan and Taiwan. In fact, some positive comments about Tank scooters have also been posted online. Of course, because of the problems that a lot of people have encountered with Tank scooters, it will take a long time before its reputation can be cleaned up. Since most Chinese people are not that fluent in English, you may have a hard time reading the manual though.
Tank has an impressive line of scooters. They have 50 cc scooters that can run at a speed 35 mph, 150 cc scooters that can reach 68 mph and 250 cc scooters that can go up to 78 mph. These scooters come in different colors. They even come in pink and yellow. They also come with compartments that can hold the tools that you need for your tattoos. But, if you feel apprehensive about purchasing a Tank scooter, you can opt for the new Roadrunner I scooter line.
