Is A Fold Up Poker Table What You Need?
A fold up poker table can now be had by anyone to give your home-based card games a professional feel. The smaller size and reduced shipping cost of these types of tables has made them much more affordable. With the popularity of WSOP Texas Hold'em tournaments featuring celebrity people, there has been a renewed appeal to playing poker at home.
Home poker will never be the same. A lot has changed from the previous days of a cloth thrown over a kitchen table and some cheap fake poker chips. Now you can set up on a felt topped poker table with casino poker chips and also plastic poker cards. The quality and smaller cost of a fold up poker table has made this all feasible. Advancements in poker chips created for home use has considerably changed the game too.
One problem with former poker tables was the expense. Several can be over 1000 bucks raising them out of grasp for many people. A fold up poker table has a wood top that can be folded in half, with the legs bolted to each segment. This allows them to be folded to half their length which makes for the reduced transport cost.
Another difficulty with the earliest poker tables was the amount of space they took up. They were similar to a pool table where as soon as they were put up, taking them apart when not required was not an option. Fold up poker tables can be folded up and put away following the game. This amounted in a great many more people being able to use them.
A lot of people desire to play at another house from game to game. But the older tables were just not moveable. Today you can collapse your table up and haul it with you. The difficulty is they are extremely heavy and even now fairly large. But it is worth the energy when you see what it contributes to your playing.
While the tables are splendid for creating a casino feel to the game, authentic poker chips do still more. Nothing like the dime store chips, these come in a number of clay and compound mixtures and have a genuine weight and size. Plastic playing cards are a further fine addition with a silky texture and they are not able to be folded, marked, or crimped. They also look and play better.
If you are hosting a Texas Hold'em tournament in your own house, or simply would like to augment some more fun to your poker games, you can't top a fold up poker table. Your poker buddies will absolutely be impressed.
