It’s a fall Saturday and the Hokies are in Blacksburg to play in a exciting ACC football football game. For Virginia Tech fans, there isn't a better place to be when the Hokies are playing. The Blacksburg game scene has become one of the best in in college football and tailgating is the main focus of the day. But if you want to participate, you need to be properly dressed in the right gear to show off your Virginia Tech pride.

You’ve got many of options. Probably the most common outfit for a Hokie fan is a Virginia Tech football jersey. Get the jersey with the number of your favorite Hokie, either current or a classic past player and off you go. Virginia Tech pullovers, shells, and ponchos are a plenty and can be golden on a gloomy day. You can wrap one of these around your waist in case of emergency, this keeps you from having to purchase one in Lane Stadium if the weather turns bad or cold unexpectedly. We all have seen Blacksburg weather patterns, and they can be unpredictable.
