Different Blackjack Games You Can Play
Out there are lots of versions of blackjack that are available to play, this is not something that many people realise. What I am going to discuss today is several of the different blackjack games that you can play and where you can play them.
There of course is the normal blackjack game to begin with. The rules of this are simple, the dealer hits up to 16 and stands on 17 or more. The player has the option to hit, stand, split or double down on each turn so it’s pretty easy to understand.
One version that has a slight variation of this game is blackjack surrender, here the player has the extra option of surrendering available to them. If you surrender, you will get half back of what you originally bet, so for example if you bet 2 dollars you would only get one back. Surrender is something you do when you have a bad hand and the dealer has a strong one, it’s basically a way of minimizing your losses.
Another game you can play at many online casinos is called lucky blackjack which is different to any other game. With this one you need to guess what you think the dealer will get in terms of card totals. You can bet on various outcomes, they are 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, BJ and finally bust.
Each of these different outcomes has different pay outs because the odds of getting each one is different. The one that is least likely to occur, and as such has the highest pay out, is BJ (blackjack), bust is most likely to occur and as a result carries the lowest pay out.
You can also play a game called blackjack switch, you have two hands on every turn in this one. This is called blackjack switch because if another had will get you closer to 21 than the one you currently have, then you can switch it. You are able to play all of these games for free at http://www.onlineblackjackguru.com which is one of the internet’s best portals for blackjack. As well as the free games, there is lots of information about blackjack strategy and the top blackjack casinos out there too.
